Welcome to Day 9 of our Thanksgiving Challenge! Today, weโre turning our gratitude toward the people whoโve influenced usโthose whoโve shaped our lives, lifted us up, and inspired us to grow. Think of someone whoโs guided, inspired, or supported youโthis is the perfect day to thank them.
Step 1: Reflect on Their Impact
Think about someone whoโs influenced your life in a meaningful way. It could be a family member, a mentor, a friend, or even a public figure. What did they teach you? How did they make you feel? Write down 2-3 names and the specific ways they have impacted your life. Their support, wisdom, or kindness has helped you grow.
Step 2: Call To Action
When was the last time you shared the lesson or wisdom someone gave you?
Gratitude does not just stop at acknowledgmentโit grows when itโs shared. Think about the lessons you have learned from the influential people in your life. What impact did their words or actions have on you?
Now, ask yourself: Have I passed that wisdom on to others? Especially during this time of year, when weโre surrounded by family and loved ones, itโs the perfect opportunity to share those lessons.
Step 3: Movement with Meaning
- Option 1: Take a reflective walk or a jog and think about the lessons these influential people have taught you.
- Option 2: Do a circuit workout: 3 rounds of 15 squats, 10 push-ups, and 1-minute rest. Each round, dedicate your energy to someone whoโs inspired you.
Today, take a moment to reflect on the most valuable piece of advice or insight you have received from someone influential in your life. Then, share it with someone you care about. Whether itโs a family member, a close friend, or even a younger generation, imparting that wisdom not only honors the person who taught you but also strengthens your bond with those you love.
Sharing these lessons is a powerful way to show gratitude, build deeper connections, and keep the cycle of influence alive.
