Letโs get real for a second. How often do you say things like:
- โIโm doing my bestโ when you know youโve been half-assing it?
- โI donโt have timeโ when, really, youโre just not prioritizing what matters?
- โIโll start tomorrowโ when youโve been saying that for weeks, months, or even years?
We lie to ourselves all the time because itโs easier than facing the truth. We protect our egos by coming up with excuses, justifying our laziness, or blaming circumstances. But hereโs the thing: you canโt fix what youโre not willing to face.
If you want real change, if you want to grow, youโve got to strip it all back. Stop letting your ego get in the way. Start asking yourself the hard questions and answering them with brutal honesty. If the answer hurts, good. That means youโre onto something.
