I Will Never Ask You to Do Something I’m Not Willing to Do Myself
Time To Read

Here’s the thing: I will never, ever ask you to do something I’m not willing to do myself. I won’t push you to grind, to show up, to get uncomfortable, if I’m not living that reality every single day. I’m not here to bullshit or throw around empty advice. I’m in the trenches too.
It’s easy to throw around words like “grind” or “hustle” like they’re magic spells. But without action, without putting in the work—those words mean nothing. The truth is, you can’t fake the work. You can’t shortcut discipline. You either show up or you don’t. And trust me, I know what it’s like to drag yourself out of bed when you’d rather hit snooze. I know what it’s like to keep pushing when everything in you says stop.
“Set the standard, then hold yourself—and anyone you allow into your life—relentlessly accountable to it.”
The real question is: Are you ready to rise to that level? Can you push yourself to meet the standard you set, not just once, but every single day? And more importantly, are you willing to surround yourself with people who challenge you to keep that bar high—people who hold you accountable when you fall short? If you’re not ready for that, ask yourself: What’s really holding you back?
“If you can’t hold yourself to the standard you set, you’re just a hypocrite, plain and simple.”
